You could easily miss this place driving by, but don't. This place is crammed with toys of almost every variety and the selection is matched by 1st rate staff and service. Most of the toys are from smaller suppliers and quality is the theme. If your child wants the latest advertised toy from Mattell, or licensed character like the Bratz or the Transformers then you're better off heading for Toys R Us.

What's better than a locally owned store? A locally owned store that gives back to the community and has outstanding selection and customer service. You are missing out on something special if you shop at the targets ando ther big boxes of the world.

This is a great place with lots to choose from. My oldest daughter who is now in her 20's started collecting the realistic plastic animal (families) from this store. Now my 5-year-old has been playing with them for a couple of years and they are still like new after 18 years. These animals are my daughters favorite toys and it is great that we can still stop in and add animals to the collection (3 lg tubs full). This is just one example of the great quality of toys this store offers. We have never gotten a toy here that we were disapointed in. It also is great that they have free gift wrapping.

I always find a fun educational toy for my daughter there. The staff is really friendly. I just wish the store were bigger.

Dolls and jump ropes, that is what every three year old wants, and you will find the best here. Nice selection of books and puzzles. The entire Corrolle line seems to be crammed into this tiny spot, but what more could you ask for-you sure won't find them at toys-r-us!

Avoid the big box....shop at Teaching Toys! Lots of quality toys from all over the world crammed into this small shop. Also an excellent assortment of books and games. They give back to the education community with school fundraiser nights, and have a frequent buyer card where you get a discount after a certain number of purchases. Free gift wrap to boot.....all in all a great little toy store.

This store has a very helpful staff and is very child-friendly...there are tons of toys set up for your kids to play with while you shop. It's a little bit crowded, but it's only because they have such a variety of toys, etc. Also there is a bathroom-which is very important when shopping there with your preschooler!

I love supporting the small local businesses and what is more fun than our neighborhood toy store? Nice people, great toys and books, and your kids can play at the train table while you shop!

Nice that they support local schools with a fundraiser night.

We love coming here because they have an incredible selection and usually have whatever we're looking for. I wish the shop were about twice the size because I usually have to ask the staff where to find what I'm looking for (toys upon toys stacked floor to ceiling) and it's often crowded on afternoons and weekends. But everyone there is so nice and don't mind the kids playing with anything and everything they see.

The staff at Teaching Toys has always been helpful, whether I+m searching for a specific toy or appropriate game, or if my daughter is trying to find the best way to maximize her meager allowance. The store is chock full of quality items and gift wrapping is always free. And here+s a secret + helium balloon prices here beat that of a local party supply store!
