This is the annual reminder to all readers to find another place to take your boat for service prior to lake season. I see that Jimmy has had some of this boys come online and post some positive comments (under an alias of course) to try and offset the negative. Dont' fall for that ploy! "Great customer service," "they will bend over backwards." Those same two phrases in two separate comments indicate they were likely written by the same person, on the payroll of course. If anyone from Tri County bends over backward it is so they can look at you from a differnt angle to figure out where to stick the knife. There are plenty of other service places to take your boat that won't overcharge you, charge you for work that was never done, or parts that were never used. THEY SUCK!!!!

Went there looking for a great deal and that is what i got GREAT customer service and very good after the sale they service my boat every year and they always bend over backwards to help me when i need something done so if your looking to buy a new or used boat check these guys out they will help you get what you want

5 STAR SERVICE!!!! If you ever need your boat repaired this is the only place to call. Had my boat worked on at another facility and it was worse when I got it back than when I dropped it off. So I called the guys at Tri-County (I live 2.5 hours from Tri-County) and explained what was going on with my boat and was speaking directly to the owner. He explained how long it would be before they could even get to look at it (it was april and everyone wanted their boats fixed) and I knew what to expect up front. Once they started working on my boat it was ready within 2 days and was better than ever. The pricing was fair and everything was as quoted. As stated above I live 2.5 hours away however, the boat is at our lake property in TN that is about 20 mins from Tri-County Marine. I called and ask the owner if I could pay a fee to have the boat picked up to fix a few minor issues and we agreed upon a price for that service... they picked it up when they were ready to do the work and I did not have to miss work to get the boat to them. It was fixed the very next day... I just want to say a special thanks to Jimmy!!! They are a great bucnh of guys that will bend over backwards to help you out...

Well it has been a year since I last took my boat to Tri-County to get it serviced and got the big middle finger. I have never forgotten it and gave them a bad review on dexknows and Goggle. I just wanted to drop by for a friendly reminder to all people looking to get your boat serviced for the new season. Run from Tri-County Marine as fast as you can! They will over charge you, say they performed work that they didn't, and when you confront them with it they will curse you like a dog (remember Jimmy? I do.). 30 years of screwing people and still going strong....

Tri-County responded to my previous poor review with a simple "sorry you had a bad experience with us." The way I was talked to and treated by the owner was horrible, and you can take that sorry and shove it. You people have no concept of customer service and an offer was never made to me to correct your error in my pricing. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB and I suspect you will be hearing from them shortly. You can also expect to see a brief article from me in the Citizen Tribune (God bless freedom of speech and freedom of the press). Tell Jimmy next time he says F*&K to a customer that he knows exactly who he is talking to, because not everyone will simply lay down and take the abuse. I could press charges I suppose, but calling you out for the pathetic business you are seems to be more gratifying.

They SUCK...... If your thinking of taking your boat to Tri-County do yourself a favor and find a fork and jab it in your eye, it will be less painful. When I questioned them overcharging me for some basic service on my boat, the owner (Jimmy) started to raise his voice and curse. Needless to say I had to pay the full amount, which was $60 over what was quoted. I will never do business at this horrible place again, and I hope they go under like a sinking ship. And that's the bottom line......
