Provided by YP.comHe is a rude and a nasty old man that shouldn't work at all. He doesn't have respect to his customers. Never go back there even he fixes my shoes for free. I wasted my time and my money for sure.

Provided by YP.comI've lived in Tallahassee for 25 years and have needed shoes or boots mended from time to time. l stumbled across this place when I moved to the southeast part of town.
This place is flat-out tremendous.
The first great thing is that it opens at 6:30 a.m. Monday - Friday. Obviously, the owner knows his market. I can't remember how long he's been in business but I know it's over 35 years. He truly loves what he does. He's very friendly, even first thing in the morning!
Secondly, the owner is honest. He'll tell you if he can't fix something right off the bat.
Thirdly, the work is fabulous. I had a pair of LL Bean slippers that had come apart at the toe and he was able to repair them. He's also resoled several shoes and reheeled others (don't forget to bring in both shoes or boots!).
Thirdly, the prices are great. You can tell that the minute that you walk into the store and see how many pairs of shoes are waiting to be picked up.
And then there's Jazz - his black Lab. She's getting up in age but she's very laid back and people-friendly. If you get there early enough she'll be out front and loves pettings and scratchings. If you get there later in the day, especially when it's warm, she's in the back.
The store is a little tricky to find - it's in a strip of stores and it can be easily passed. Once you find it, you won't go anywhere else.
If I can give it more than five stars I would.
