Gestapo-style "maintenance inspections" where they email residents a one week window "no appointments allowed" where they barge into your apartment, whether you tell them no or not (or post "do not disturb" or are a night shift worker, there is NO respect nor quiet enjoyment of your rented space. Here is a sample email they sent: Dear Residents,

We will be conducting our routine inspections starting tomorrow Wednesday, May 21st, 2014. The inspection will consist of us visiting your apartment in order to inspect for any damages to the unit. We will visit all units and will not be setting up appointments for visits. We will be inspecting from 5/21-5/31/2014.

Highly advise do NOT send your college student to Lynd corporate ghettos. They also charge $50/month for "furniture rental" then provide only glorified stuffed bags for mattresses (no spring no foundation, setting your child up for a lifetime of back pain issues!)
