I have recently had an awful experience with this practice after being be loyal to them for the last 7 years. My daughter was called in to repeat a urine sample a week after the first one. The first one had already been sent off to Quest Diagnostics. Although I was unsure of why we needed to repeat it again, I agreed to bring my daughter back in as I was told by Julie that there should be no charge. My daughter's second sample was not enough and I was told by more than one person that it was not able to be sent off to Quest Diagnostics and that we would not be charged. However, we were charged again. When I called to express concern, Julie did not have the best attitude and did not want to acknowledge their mistake. At this point, all I really wanted is for someone to take responsibility and simply apologize. Apparently that was asking too much. Julie put me on hold to never come back. I then called back and spoke to Lori and that conversation wasn't any better but she did finally agree to pay the charge through Quest Diagnostics. After this experience, I switched practices and thought that was the end of it until I received a letter from Dr. Elzie, the man I have trusted to care for my children for the past 7 years. This letter is extremely disheartening as I honestly did not feel this issue affected mine and Dr. Elzie's relationship. Yes, he is the one who requested I bring my daughter back in but he is not the person that advised me that there would not be any additional charge. I will never look at Dr. Elzie the same, and I am extremely disappointed in him as a doctor. Based on this, I would never recommend him.

I'll spare you the entire letter but here is an excerpt.

"It has become apparent that you have needs and expectations for your children's medical care that we are not going to be able to meet. Therefore I am withdrawing myself from your children's medical care."

My daughter sees Dr. Elsie and he is awesome. He really knows what he is doing. The only problem I have with this place is that it is always crowded and you have to wait 45min. to see the doctor (and that's with an appointment). However, they are pretty good about getting you a same day appointment.
