Founded in 1969, Sealey Elementary School is a magnet school for students in prekindergarten through grade five. It has a special education department that provides programs for students with learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, speech and language impairments, and physical disabilities. The school operates a student council and a parent-teacher association. Its curriculum includes English, language arts, math, science and social studies. The school also provides extracurricular activities, including arts, music, physical education and sports. It organizes a number of math and science fairs, and contests for students.
