Maura Ulloa DBA Sewing Creations by Maura is a con woman who ripped me off for hundreds of dollars in hugely inflated charges and ruined $1500 of my clothing. I later took my items to a reputable tailor in town and he said he has never seen such subpar work-- uneven stitching, uneven sleeve lengths, unfinished sections, shredded fabric and holes in fabric that were not there prior. I sued her and she had the nerve to countersue with some trumped up charges with no basis in fact and perjured herself to the court. Other online reviews show that Maura Ulloa has a longstanding practice of quoting one price, doubling that price upon delivery, and then holding clothing hostage in an extortion scheme. Despicable, nasty, unethical woman. Steer clear.

Maura has been helping me for more than four years. She has altered countless trousers, heavy and light jackets, dresses and even my wedding dress. Addtionally, she took a skirt I loved, made a pattern from it and made four skirts for me. Through our business visits, I discovered she worked her way through TCC and FSU: She recently graduated with her B.A.!I highly recommend Maura to everyone I know. She speaks both English and Spanish also, which is a plus.

I love Maura and her work!!! Exceptional service ... attention to detail ... pricing is exceptionally good ... I can't wait to lose more weight and take in all my favorite pieces!!! Thanks Maura!!!

I have been going to Maura for about 3 years now and everything she has done has been wonderful. I have gone to her for dress alterations to hemming jeans, and have been pleased with each piece. She is meticulous in her work and has great turnaround time. There is no one else I would go to besides Maura.

In short, Maura did not fix the dress correctly, then refused to fix it at no extra cost. The situation escalated (due to her refusing to listen/speak about it) and the cops were called. Maura tried to steal the dress out of my bridesmaid's hand, and played tug-o-war with it (even though she knew we were waiting for the cops to get there) The police man even had a difficult time with her, and almost had to arrest her. It was an absolute nightmare... I do not recommend that you trust your garments to Maura.
