we arrived at 6:30 and ordered our steaks by 6:45. there was only one other family in the entire place. By 7:30 we still had not received our food, so i walked to the counter to ask about a time frame. The owner instantly got aggressive and started arguing with me about how long we had been there. It really frustrated me, so i walked back to the table. Once our steaks arrived,i cut mine open. I had ordered mine medium rare, which by ALL other restaurants standards means it is still slightly bloody, but it was well done... barely any pink left at all. I told the waitress I did not want it and explained why. She was very sympathetic and she took it back to the kitchen. My boyfriends steak was ok so we decided we would both eat it. When i received the check he had still charged me for my salad which consisted of some lettuce, watery dressing, and croutons. I walked to the counter to pay and the owner came up and said Let me ask you a question... what was wrong with your steak? in a very hateful way. I told him I had ordered it medium rare and it was way overcooked. he started arguing with me saying he had been doing this since 1976 and he knew how steaks were suppose to be cooked. My old man has worked at steakhouses for years, so he told him he was wrong. The owner then got very mad and said next time we come i need to come into the kitchen and cook my own steak. Really?Why would I come to your place of business and pay you to let me cook my own meal. The whole experience was horrible and i will never recommend going there to anyone. It is obvious this happens often because they had absolutely no business on a Saturday night. I dont understand how they are stillopen.
