We've been regular customers of Olive Garden and we go there at least once every month. Our family really enjoys the minestrone soup and breadsticks and we have never really had a bad experience before this.



So, our waitress, Megan, appeared friendly and we saw her at the front desk when we checked in. We got salad and minestrone soup along with the main entrees and appetizers. As I brought my whole family along with grandparents, we had them have soup along with us. The waitress apparently didn't like us sharing food. We had only one refill of the soup and we didn't even get a refill for salad. Normally, minestrone soup is refilled more than one time even if it is just one person eating it by themselves. Megan didn't even bother to ask us whether we wanted dessert and we wanted to get tiramisu. Though she did bring all the food pretty quickly and the food in the way we had requested. But, she just hurriedly placed the check on the table. We were surprised to see she charged us for both the soup refills while Olive Garden prides itself and lures customers for its "unlimited" soup. Who would have thought you would have to pay extra for every refill of "unlimited" soup.



When we brought up the overcharge issue, she sent the manager to talk to us. He wasn't anymore helpful than she was. He kept interrupting and did not even make an effort to help when we told him we were regular Olive Garden customers. This was a very unsatisfactory experience and we will not go back to the Talleyville, Delaware Olive Garden ever again.
