The best take-out Chinese food I've had in quite some time...

In Fort Lauderdale for an evening, I decided on Chinese food. And China Star on West Commercial Boulevard was my pick - quite by accident. I happened to be driving by and they won by default.

Cashier was friendly and polite. I ordered the number 14 dinner combo - curry chicken with pork fried rice, egg roll and wonton soup. 10 minutes I was told. And yes, I requested take-out.

Meal was excellent. Entire meal from the curry chicken, to the pork fried rice, egg roll and wonton soup was tasty. The entree portion of the meal - curry chicken - was plentiful. Lots of Chinese vegetables as well.

Fried rice was fresh and had plenty of pork. Egg roll was fresh and tasty. The wonton soup had two noodles and plenty of scallions. It was tasty as well.

Take-out bag had napkins, silverware, duck sauce, and a fortune cookie. It was fresh as well.

Restaurant was clean and well cared for. Plenty of staff and quick service. I enjoyed watching them as the various meals were prepared

In the neighborhood again, China Star is on my list for take-out Chinese.
