Egyptian School District consists of elementary, middle and high school within one building. It serves students from prekindergarten through grade 12 and has an enrollment of more than 650 students. It employs over 50 teachers and a special technology coordinator who maintains computer labs and individual laptops. Located in Tamms, Ill., the district offers resources, such as academic tutoring, accelerated reading program and special education. It also offers a health department and a media center. Additionally, Egyptian School District offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including cheerleading, dance, clubs, bands and athletics. It also encourages parent involvement in organizing book fairs and college placement sessions.
