October 7, 2015 had an appointment to get transmission flushed and trans filter replaced in my 2002 Explorer Sport Trac w/ over 170K miles on it and fluid was black (smelled burnt). 1 of their techs drove it claiming it had a 1-2 and 2-3 shift flare. Truck drove fine getting there. They tell me they can't do the flush unless they drop the transmission to inspect the internal parts which was several hundred dollars more. I told them give me my keys and went to Currie Ford instead. Currie did the flush and I've still have no issues to this day. I'm also a mechanic, but some things I can't do at home and know a scam when I see one. Hope this AAMCO closes down. STAY AWAY!



Fast foward to March 2016 I get a notice in the mail about my 2004 Chevy 1500 needing to be addressed. I DON'T OWN A 2004 CHEVY 1500! Just goes to show their incompetence.
