Daniel M. Hernandez is a skilled, experienced criminal trial lawyer who, in more than 30 years of practice, has tried over 300 jury trials in both State and Federal court. Prior to opening his practice specializing in criminal defense, Mr. Hernandez was a State prosecutor for the 13th Judicial Circuit in Florida for 6 years. He has handled every type of criminal case including homicide, robbery, sexual battery, narcotics trafficking and white collar crimes. Mr. Hernandez is one only a few private attorneys qualified to be appointed by the courts to handle capital murder cases. Additionally, he received a Top Secret FBI clearance in order to handle sensitive espionage cases in the Middle District of Florida. A graduate of the University of South Florida (undergraduate) and the University of Florida School of Law, Mr. Hernandez is a member of several associations dedicated to promote the practice of criminal defense law such as the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Florida Associations of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Goldburg Inns of Court.
