Established in 1974, Tampa Forklift has maintained a service policy that has been the foundation of its continued growth. In 1976, the company became the LPM, or lift parts manufacturing, distributor. This allows the company to provide OEM-equivalent replacement parts for Toyota, Clark, Yale, Hyster, Caterpillar, Crown, Raymond and many others. In 1977, Tampa Forklift became one of the first forklift dealers, selling Prime Mover, or narrow-aisle electric lifts, which is owned by B/T. In addition, in 1984 Tampa Forklift became the TCM forklift dealer for internal combustions and electric sit down forklifts. Headquartered in Tampa, Fla., Tampa Forklift is a privately owned company that employs nearly 50 people.
