When signing up for hartline plus, hartline makes it clear if no one is at the drop of point to pick up your underage special needs child, they will drop them off and leave them. My son attends F.A.C.A FLORIDA AUTISM SCHOOL OF EXCELLANCE. And, when scheduling and informing them regarding a drop off time when the school is open, they informed me they make no gurantees and should the driver arrive earlier than scheduled, my child will be left unattended on the campus. My son is 13 years old, has low comprehension and would have no idea where to wait or even why he was left without a teacher or staff to receive him. I would advise anyone considering using hartline for a special needs family member to file a complaint with your local politicians regarding what hartline claims is their policy and right.
