The Hillsborough County Real Estate Department provides real estate support for county agencies and constitutional officers. In addition, it is responsible for the maintenance of more than 285 county facilities, such as the county center, courthouse, libraries and other buildings. Specific services include survey and geographic information systems/mapping, real estate acquisition and technical support, property management, architectural services, environmental land purchases and the management of facilities construction projects. Services offered to the public include the sale of aerial maps; processing vacating petitions; providing information about maps, plats and rights-of-way; and maintaining records on county real estate transactions. The Hillsborough County Real Estate Department is located in Tampa, Fla.
