This is a rapidly growing company with still MUCH to learn. There stands no HR personnel on-site which leads to a lack of construct in certain areas. The turnover rate has seemed to increase exponentially and employee engagement decreasing amongst peers. Workplace gossip and drama create toxicity amongst the company which leads to an unpleasant work experience. While working for this company, many employees expressed either contemplating leaving, we’re planning their resignation, or unhappy and always complaining- to include some of the now laboratory supervisors. Upper management should listen to employee concerns much closer and implement an on site HR to bridge the gap between management and its employees. Management is seemingly quick to jump to conclusions and should be more direct with their intentions to employees- instead of discussing behind their backs. The company may want to take a step back and focus more on quality in many aspects (i.e. training, development, building long term employee relationships) rather than rapid growth. Looking back, too many new employees have/ are being implemented at once with loads of client work added without the properly trained man power to meet specified deadlines in certain departments. Many employees have expressed experiencing burnout and feeling under-appreciated. Benefits are kinda good. Proper training for scientists has improved which can be seen as a step headed in the right direction. There is definitely potential for growth, but on a much slower scale. If you use your time wisely while working here, you can gain many skills and utilize them as a resume booster. The skills gained here are able to elevate you to a much higher position with other companies earning almost double- which has been the case for several workers.
