I took my work van to get transmission fixed I spoked to the owner José (Tony) we agreed $1,800.00 plus taxes to have it fixed and He said it would take about 4 to 5 days to get it done then two weeks later He called me and said He had a bad and a good new the good was that my van was ready and the bad was that the price of the repair was not $1,800.00 but $3,500.00 so I told him he can’t do that to the customers He should call before have it done if the price wasn’t the same that we agreed and He said He can’t do nothing about I ended up paying the $3,500.00 whe I got there they didn’t had my van tested to see if the transmission was working good , two of his mechanics went to drive it and they came back saying that was slow because the transmission was getting used to the new parts and wait for a few day to be normal it’s been almost a month now and the transmission still slow on the first and second gears I went back to His shop because He gave me two years of warranty they put the computer and reset it but still the same , finally He said he feel my van transmission normal so He didn’t take the transmission apart to check it out and didn’t honor the warranty. He don’t do transmissions at all He take it apart and make money taking the transmission to another mechanic who fix the transmissions for Him , now I am sure He will not try to fix my transmission that’s the reason that I am writing this review to prevent more people who work hard to meme their money don’t get fooled by this type of non professional mechanics.

Los mechanicos son muy buenos, honestos, el trabajo es barato y saben todo de los carros. I take my 2000 Honda to Jose, my bf takes his Nissan n his family takes their 1990's Toyota and new Honda. He's very knowledgeable and fair prices compared to most other rip-off garages in FL. There's 1 guy that speaks perfect English n the cashier speaks enough to check u out but other than that everybody speaks spanish so it helps if u at least can Spanglish ur way thru it. There's been 1 issue with a new mechanic that broke something aesthetic on my car but Jose fixed it no charge n the guy was fired next time I came. I like taking my car here, I feel they're very good mechanics and charge fair prices and always tell me the truth about needed repairs or if I can wait to do something. They can't do body work or alignments here but they'll refer u to somewhere honest and cheap for anything u need that they don't do. Jose will be my mechanic as long as he's in Tampa I trust him and his employees.

Jose A Lopez who is the owner of this business is a thief I took my VW to him to get repaired and charged me almost 700 dollars to "replace the clutch" but when i went to get my car the water pump was busted and the engine light was on which he wanted to charge me to fix what he broke. DO NOT take your car here this is the second car of mine he ruins I gave him the benefit of doubt and he messed over me a 2nd time! Wish i can rate 0
