I took a diamond ring that was less than a month old to these clowns for a simple sizing service. i had purchased the ring at a different jeweler, but since the original jeweler don't have an onsite sizing service and the store where i originally purchased the ring has a turn around time of a week, I thought i would give this place a try since they offer onsite same day sizing. i decided to spend the extra money for a place that offers same day service in lieu of using the store where i purchased the ring. After an "inspection" of the ring, the Jeweler at Jewelry Studio, informed me that the "settings prongs" were "worn" and "needed to be replaced" and that "this was a used piece of jewelry".



Before i could even mention that the ring was new, they slapped their business card on the counter trying to sell me a replacement of the prongs, a sizing service and god knows what else within a minute of entering the store.



When i told them that the ring was new, this guy began to argue with me about the "age" of the piece and the "state" of the prongs and "boasting his over 20 years" as a jeweler!



I left the store instantly!



In a nutshell, what was a simple sizing service .... was turning into a replacement of prongs, sizing and a heck of alot more money on a new ring that i simply wanted to get sized!



I have decided to return to the jeweler where i made my purchase even though it takes a few days for turn around time rather to be get involved into a jewelers con game!



DO NOT USE, unless you're willing to get into the risk of these people selling you MUCH more than you ask for, even on a new ring!
