Excellent Service - Quality Treats!

If you haven't been by Just Dogs Gourmet then you need to go! Its like a small town bakery but for dogs! The treats are all-natural, excellent quality and my dogs love them and now they won't eat anything else!! They have the best selection of apparel in Tampa and unique gift items for people. I'm suprised at some of the previous posts because the customer service has always been exceptional and the people there are very friendly!! What a great, refreshing store!

Very Cute Store

I love to go in and see all the neat stuff here, as far as prices on christmas and birthday dog gifts and human gifts for dog lovers and customer service, I would suggest Pampered Paw Gifts, they go above and beyond for their customers and the humans, LOL!

I love looking at the pictures and reviews on the happy customers page.

HORRIBLE Customer Service & RUDE employees/franchise owner

My family and I have been long time shoppers at Just Dogs Gourmet in Tyrone Mall. We happened to be at Westshore Plaza one day and saw an adorable outfit in the Just Dogs Gourmet store they had there. Unsure if the outfit would fit my dog, I turned to ask the sales associate if we could return the outfit if it did not fit. Her response was, "You can return it as long as you have your store receipt and it is within 30 days." After much consideration, we decided to purchase it keeping in mind what the employee told us about the return policy. The following Thursday, I called Just Dogs Gourmet in Westshore to ask them if I needed the actual debit card with me to return it or if it will automatically get credited back to my mother's account. The employee who answered the phone, Peggy, was extremely rude and told me that they do not return anything. Everything that is brought back is exchanged for store credit. I explained to her that her associate, Millie, did not tell me the same policy when we originally purchased it (and we did buy the outfit because of the policy we were originally told). Peggy proceeded to tell me there was nothing I could do about it and "Oh well".



Since the outfit was purchased by my mother, I called her to explain what I was told and how I was treated. She could not believe it because my entire family was with us when we bought it and they too heard the return policy originally explained to us. My mother decided to call the store and tell them that they need to honor what their employee said. When my mom asked to speak to the owner, Peggy said, "Well, he's going to tell you the same thing, so why bother?" When my mom was able to talk to the owner, his comment was, "Well, she might have told you the wrong policy, but she meant to tell you the correct policy." IT DOESN'T MATTER. What your employee told us is why we bought the outfit and now we are stuck with something that doesn't fit because your employee told us something, "she didn't mean to say."



The owner at the store in Westshore has no clue how to run a business or handle customers. When you have an employee who misinforms customers and the customers want to return something based on what they were told and then do not honor it, you will continue to lose customers. Word of mouth is the best form or advertising and you will be getting all the wrong advertising from my entire family. If you want to be treated fairly, stay away from the Westshore Just Dogs Gourmet store!

Great customer service!

I do not live near this store and I called them to see if I could place an order over the phone. They said, Of course! I received excellent service and highly recommend them!
