I had walked in to buy snorkeling gear from Mac's, my friends had recommended to me cause the place had been in the scuba business since the stoneage of scuba diving and they had allot of experience. I was afraid of diving cause not a great swimmer by any means, but one of the instructors, Travis and the owner Brian were very laid back and took the time to explain the advantages and the necessity of classes and maybe with my swimming fears, private lessons would be good. They were right and after being ripped off on-line companies poor quality equipment and getting certified with personal lessons with travis, got a good price on all my equipment from Brian and went to the keys for my certification dives. Just great people and wanted anyone that is looking to get into scuba, the attitudes, the environment and the safety precautions made diving fun, easy and the prices and quality for the equipment were outstanding. But I'm a believer in quality people and that's what I got from Mac's
