Howard F. Curren Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant operates a laboratory that conducts environmental study and handles industrial wastes. It is a part of the Wastewater Division, which collects, treats and disposes more than 50 million gallons of wastewater daily from over 98,000 customers. The Wastewater Division maintains an engineering division that provides design, drafting, information systems, contract administration and planning support to the department.
