Wharton High School, located in Tampa, Fla., offers an extensive curriculum for students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 2,100 students and is affiliated with the Hillsborough School District. The school offers a wide range of courses, including English, language arts, foreign language, mathematics, science, social studies, naval science, fine arts, special education, computer technology, television education, and health and physical education. The high school provides a variety of sports activities that include baseball, basketball, volleyball, football, flag football, soccer, softball, swimming, wrestling, hockey, golf, cross country, and track and field. The Wharton High School has a parent-teacher student association that supports and sponsors various school programs and events.
