Jan. 23: I ordered a pair of custom show boots from Whip N Spur. I went to the store by appointment, was measured and paid a 50% deposit. The balance to be paid upon delivery. The boots were promised to deliver in 6-8 weeks to the store for me to pick up.

The first week of March 2018: I was informed the boots had arrived. When I arrived, the sales woman at the store handed me the box and we opened them together. Unfortunately, the boots were damaged. The leather was deeply scratched. The woman was apologetic she had not bothered to look at the boots prior to calling me. She asked me what I wanted to do. I told her to please contact the makers in Italy and have a replacement pair sent as soon as possible. She then offered to ask the store owner about giving me a discount to accept this damaged pair.

After this, I began a weekly attempt to find out the status of these boots.

To date, June 18, I have not received a phone call, the boots I ordered or a refund of the $710.20 I paid as deposit.

They don't keep track of their inventory and don't update their website when items are out of stock. Placed an order and they emailed me my order was processing. After two weeks I called them for a tracking # and was told the item was discontinued and not in stock and that they don't update their website. Unreliable and disorganized.
