The PA CareerLink of Monroe County is the Pocono Communities? one-stop center for workforce development services for both job seekers and employers. The CareerLink is operated by a partnership which includes Monroe County Job Training, Bureau of Workforce Development Partnership, Adecco, Burnley Workshop, CDE Training, Goodwill Industries, Monroe Career & Technical Institute, Monroe County Assistance Office, Monroe County Youth Employment Service, Northampton Community College, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, Pocono Mountains Industrial Development Corp and Trans American Technical Institute. This consortium of agencies offer many workforce development services under one roof. Services are available universally to our customers and include information and enrollment on the Commonwealth Workforce Development System (CWDS) at www.cwds.state.pa.us. Job listings and referrals, job search and placement assistance, labor market information, employment statistics, information for filing unemployment compensation and informational seminars are available on our website and at our facility. Additional services are available to those job seekers who are in need of case management and employment plan development. Testing, assessment, job search workshops, basic education/GED and basic computer literacy are also offered as services based on need. Training services such as skill training are available to eligible job seekers in need of additional skills to become employed.
