COTTAM'S REVIEW:

 I give this place one star only because the kids who helped us yesterday were nice and we got a kick out of them.  However that's where the good review ends.  The woman who seems to run the store was not friendly at all.  But whatever ... that's her problem.  We would not have posted anything but for the experience we just had with her.

It didn't take long while we were skiing for my wife to realize that her boots were really hurting her shins.  It was such a problem that we were only able to 

ski a half day.  We weren't even going to say anything about it when we returned the skis because - well, what's the point?  We'd already decided that if we went again tomorrow, if her shins permitted, we were going to rent up there.  Anyway, turns out that my wife must have picked up the wrong ski poles and the woman told us that she would put the poles in their lost & found and that we owed her $30.  I paid it but was amazed at this as I told her then that we had to cut our day short because of the boot problem.  Also the fact that one of her employees told us that the poles we brought back were very good and probably worth $50-60 used.  Most places, under those circumstances, would write off the cost of the poles and keep the better ones - if not also give us a break on another rental as we were only able to ski a half day on our $150 lift tickets (not to mention the bruised shins).

We are experienced skiers and have never had such an experience with a rental shop under these kind of circumstances.  So consider renting somewhere else if you can.
