Edgecombe County Public Schools offers a range of learning and educational opportunities for students. The district serves more than 7,800 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12, as well as governs over 15 school schools, including G.W. Carver Elementary School, South Edgecombe Middle School and North Edgecombe High School. Its schools offer instruction in music, reading, writing, science, social studies and mathematics.
