Provided by YP.comHighly recommended, excellent food. I am a shop owner in town and get asked by the tourists all the time where would be the best place to experience authentic Greek cuisine. I send them to Costa's EVERY TIME. Hummus to die for and fresh, fresh, fresh Greek salads.

Provided by YPmobileOur first visit here. The waitstaff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a gyro the flaming cheese appetizer (very impressive ) and the stuffed grape leaves. Everything was absolutely delicious and the portions were huge. Wanted to try the baklava but ended up stuffed will have to wait til next time.

Provided by YP.comMy FAVORITE Greek Place to Eat in Tarpon by far !!! Love this place. I visit couple times a year to see my brother and his family, and weve tried alot of places. But we found this place to eat with the fam, and we are hooked. I was there 3 times in a week. It was a cozy place and everything was perfect. We all loved what we ate each time we were there! From the flaming cheese, to the seafood to the traditional greek dishes, it definatly stands out from the crowd. Its right off the main road, but its def the BEST greek place in town!!!

Provided by YP.comWe're regulars at Costas for a reason. First their Greek salads are a notch above the others in Tarpon. They're made with a better olive oil and some greener lettuces, not just a bunch of iceberg.
They have a pretty standard menu of Greek specialties and a few extras you don't see often. I eat gigandes--which are giant lima beans with rice. Sounds not so special, but it is comfort food at it's best. I think they also have hummus and friend eggplant or zucchini. It can be hard to find vegetarian items locally. My husband eats the dolamades which are grape leaves stuffed w/ a meat and rice mixture covered in a bechamel or hollandiase-type sauce.
The have some Greek beers and wines--I drink the sweet wine, but it can be a little overwhelming.
Waitstaff is quite friendly and knows the place back and forth. No worries that they'll get something wrong. It's usually quick, efficient service with friendly folks.
One more major plus--they have their own parking lot which is free. Sure, its just off the main road, but you get the full Tarpon experience without the attitude and parking fees you get at other restaurants.
