Taunton High School offers educational and extracurricular programs for children from grades nine through 12. A part of Taunton Public School District, it features a computer and science laboratory, library and media center and open and enclosed playgrounds. The school s curriculum includes mathematics, English, science, foreign languages, history, geography, economics, industrial arts, physical and health education, music, and arts and crafts. Taunton High School organizes a range of social events, such as alumni banquet, field day, knowledge bowl, Future Business Leaders of America, junior and senior banquet, scholastic scrimmage, senior trips, state fine arts and academic competitions, band and choir concerts, and the National Honor Society. Additionally, the school provides several sports programs, including lacrosse, miniature golf, basketball, cross-country, cheerleading, baseball, tennis, badminton, swimming, soccer and softball.
