Provided by YPmobileThis is my fav Mexican restaurant I've eaten at in all Greenville! It's family owned,& the owners go above,&!beyond to please all customers. From my first time, to my (well stopped counting),my family,& friends have always been satisfied with the great customer service, smiles on every staff's faces,& the array of choices that you don't normally find at most your bland other Mexican places.Their manners,& helping you find just the right item for you& dinner guests are amazing:) Next time you are looking to mix things up a little, try El Matador,in Taylors,SC on Wade Hampton Blvd.

Provided by YP.comOk.I just walked through my front door and straight to my computer i went because i have to write this and let it be known...i have NEVER wrote a review before in my life but i have NEVER had the experience i just had...we went to El Matador walked in was greeted and seated...server came out my husband ordered his burrito and we ordered the three taco dinner that s served with rice and beans and my husband got the rice and beans for dine in and the three tacos to take to my elderly grandparents.he ate the burrito (the meat tasted llike it was seasoned with the el paso taco packets)the beans were dark brown and looked like they had been sitting in a pot all day...(at every other mexican rest. i ve eaten at they ve been a light brown color and not stuck together ... my husband stuck his fork in them and it stood up and never fell over)the rice tasted like the five min. rice from the packet that is 98cents at the store)then we go to the front to pay for our meal and the lady asks how our food was and we told her exactly what i ve wrote above (that it was horrible) then she tells us to hold on she was going to get someone...we expected a genuine manager(hahahahahaha) to my surprise he comes out and first asks the older guy that was putting his money away( from just being charged 50 cents extra for his sour cream) if he was the one with the problem...the older guy said no then he looks at us with an ATTITUDE might i add and asks what the problem was we told him what is wrote above then to my great dismay he started to cuss at us and tells us that we shouldn t have eaten it(which clearly he only ate the burrito)and tells us it must have been good if we were getting it to go...i proceeded to tell him he could take the to-go order off and i would go to taco bell and get better food there.and he continued to cuss at us (his paying customers) and telling us he was going to call the cops....anyways that was my experience...and to whom ever reads this we weren t looking for a free handout we were going to pay our bill with the intentions of NEVER going back...we were simply giving an answer to the question we had been asked.i truely hope everyone else gets better treatment than we did or better yet just don t give your opinion...you might get cussed out by the owner...have a blessed day.and the one star rating would go out to my server he did a great job.

Provided by YP.comThis is the best Mexican food I have ever had. We drive 40 miles just to eat at this restaurant. The chili relenos are the best thing I've found outside of Mexico. It's a must try location.

Provided by YP.comThis is probably the oldest
Mexican food restaurant in the city
and the food is sooooo good. Some
highlights are the chili rellno and
the chimichanga--WOW--what a treat.
You will be glad you went here!!
