If I could give a zero rating I would. Not only did they damage my home, they damaged my brand new refrigerator and refused to haul away the microwave we had paid to have removed. They slapped some putty in one of the holes they made to try and get away with it, promising they would make amends. Then they tried to weasel cash from my elderly parent upon delivery to install the new microwave. I am appalled at their audacity. They have given me the run around when the damage they caused could be potentially hazardous. Nobody cares. Then they called today with a “service man” who was arriving in 20 minutes with no prior notice. Hello, I work a full time job. Totally unprofessional. Pathetic. Home Depot should be ashamed for contracting with these criminals.

If I could leave a zero rating I would! Eric came to my home with an attitude, damaged my property AND what should have been my brand new refrigerator, and LEFT the one he was suppose to haul away in the middle of my drive where I park, but not before ALSO causing damages to it. I had broken glass in my driveway, debris in my yard, and Eric broke my front stairs and stringers.

AS IT WAS HAPPENING I called and reported it to Home Depot. I was told to deny the delivery, which I did, that the stairs I had JUST HAD replaced 4 years ago would be replaced, and that I would be compensated. NONE of this happened. R and D Delivery has tried to take no responsibility. I have actual photo proof of my stairs not being but 4yrs old (they're trying to claim they're 20-30, not true), that I waited 3 days to report it, which ALSO isn't true, and that the weight of the refrigerator couldn't be held with the "age of the stairs". Funny, I have had things hauled up those stairs without ANY issue just prior to this. R and D delivery and their driver Eric are terrible.

While Eric SHOULD have been working to help his partner he was outside pacing and ranting on the phone. He didn't come prepared with simple tools needed to remove the old refrigerator, and then intentionally letting go of the old refrigerator on the hand truck which broke my steps, horrible. And I find it horrible that the company won't take responsibility for what one of their employees did. This is a picture of my new stairs in 2014 that they are trying to claim are 20-30 years old.

!!!WARNING!!! DON'T BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT IF R&D IS THE DELIVERY COMPANY (UPSTATE SC AREA). I BOUGHT A $2200 REFRIGERATOR FOR MY SON'S NEW HOME AND THEY SAID THEIR TRUCK WAS TOO TALL TO MAKE IT UNDER THE POWER LINES AT THE END OF THE DRIVEWAY … SO THEY DROPPED THE FRIDGE AT THE END OF THE DRIVEWAY AND DIDN'T EVEN OFFER THE USE OF THEIR HAND TRUCKS TO GET IT TO THE HOUSE (ABOUT 200 YARDS) … AND NOW'S WHEN I SEE THE OTHER REVIEWS! NEVER AGAIN.

After the driver got the truck stuck on the roadway (after taking the curve far too tightly), I called the office. Here's how the conversation went.
R&D: We're not calling Home Depot to tell them about this.
Me: Why not?
R&D: You are the customer.
Me: You are the delivery company who is being paid to deliver this.
R&D: We won't be paid anything.
Me: If you don't follow up on this, I will review you on Angie's List.
R&D: We aren't ON Angie's List. And we're not a public company.
Me: So, you don't give a rat's a$$?
R&D: That's r--

On 11/27 they delivered an LG washer from Home Depot that had a large dent in the front. Their driver, JP Krogenberger, advised us to accept the damaged appliance then negotiate a discount from Home Depot. I was willing to do that, but called HD and see if they would do it. HD said they absolutely would not negotiate, it was the delivery company's job to get us an undamaged washer, and to tell the driver to take the washer back and deliver an undamaged one. I spoke to a manager named Holly at the East Asheville HD - she said HD wasn't responsible for the damaged delivery - even though they hired R&D. Both HD and the driver said we'd go to the top of the delivery list to get a replacement - so I sent it back. The driver gave me a number to call at LG. I called LG who said we would not go to front of line and would have to schedule as if we were ordering for the first time. They said they couldn't schedule until 12/11, two weeks later. On 12/5 R&D called to say deliveries were delayed by snow and rescheduled for 12/19. I asked why there was a week delay for a one day snow event. She lectured me about how they wouldn't risk their driver's safety to get me a washer, entirely missing the point On the evening of 12/18 we got a recorded call from R&D saying delivery would be on 12/19 between 3 and 7 PM. They never showed up and didn't call. I strongly advise against purchasing from Home Depot as long as they are using R&D - they lie, are rude, don't deliver on schedule and don't have the courtesy to let you know.

HORRIBLE, RUDE, liars! This company is unprofessional and hostile. I ordered an appliance from Home Depot & this is the delivery service they use. DO NOT order with Home Depot if this is who you deal with. When they called to give a window of 8:00-12:00 we asked to arrive at 9:00 and wait 5 minutes for us because we weren't home. They threatened to leave and not wait. When I spoke to Jennifer she LIED and said they were willing to wait and did not threaten to leave. The drivers yelled at us and our neighbor and Jennifer was RUDE and not helpful. WE refused to allow them into our home and sent them away. NOTHING is worth dealing with this company and their attacks and harassment. This company should not be in business but the owner probably does not care about customer service at all. Home Depot needs to find another contractor for services
