My husband and I went in telling the guy at the front we bought a guitar from a pawn shop...this is our first time owning a guitar...the guy was very helpful and all the employees there helped us find what we needed and answered all our questions...no bad experience as far as I'm concerned

Incredibly rude employee in the Acoustic Room! Would not give me a straight answer to questions of quality, even went as far as to tell me "It really doesn't matter if a guitar has a solid top or laminate as long as you're looking in a comparable price range it will be the same quality." After he had told me solid top doesn't matter, he would not tell me if they had a solid top or not. Very unhelpful and flat out rude when I needed a price on something that wasn't marked. Maybe he would have been more helpful had I been looking at the $1000 guitars, but if you only have $300-$400 to spend don't waste your time at Guitar Center, they certainly didn't give me the time of day.
