Established in 1968, the Tazewell County Career & Technical Center, governed by the Tazewell County Public School System, serves the needs of high school students and adults. It provides educational opportunities to students in the Tazewell County in Virginia. The center offers courses in automobile body repair, carpentry, cosmetology, drafting, diesel equipment technology, welding and computer systems technology. The Tazewell County Career & Technical Center also conducts GED, English and practical nursing education classes. It offers membership opportunities to students in organizations, such as the National Technical Honor Society, SkillsUSA and Health Occupation Students of America. Additionally, the center conducts a course in masonry and building trades.
