They did great the first time we did business with them. However, when we called for service, things went bad fast. They said the man would be out either that Saturday or the next Monday. He was not. I called later that week and was told the owner had to determine which valve needed replacing and order the part but the owner wouldn't be in for two days. I still had ten percent in the tank so I wasn't worried as it was early fall but we wanted to start getting it filled for the winter. I waited a week and a half for a response and finally called on last Thursday, October 27, 2016 to check up again on when we could see it being fixed. I was called the next day and was told the repair technician Brian had been erratic lately and she was hoping they would find someone else. The reason I was given for not being called back was that he had taken the repair sheet and she had no way of knowing who to call and check up on. I suggested making a copy. Brian came out later that day and had to use my soap, cup and water to pour water and find the leak around the valve, but all he did was tighten it up yet again and did not replace it as he had agreed to do when we initially began service and found the leak. My spouse fired them on Monday, November 1, 2016 and started service with another company, who found a crack in the intake pipe that Smith's had missed.
Poor follow-up, haphazard repair work, and a failure to have the basic tools for the job have left me disappointed. I've heard they can take a year or longer to pick up their tank so I'll need to start checking into that from a legal standpoint. Buyer beware!

The company has been great to work with. The office staff encourages everyone to keep receipt records because they have older systems that occasionally good up and plus it's just good practice. Overall friendly staff, helpful, and a great locally owned company.

This company stole over a hundred dollars from us. They took the $300 for a fill up and only wrote down that they charged for 100 gallons. Which would have been $166. So when we called thinking we had a terrible leak because our tank was at 30% she said he only put 100 gallons in and the money balanced for that day... so there is nothing we can do and we will still have to fill it again. Never using this company again. I only rated one star because it made me...
