I think salvation army is a great charitable organization. I have rang the bell for them during the holidays..however i believe the one in Tehachapi could use a few much needed changes.#1 The "food" line..why not have the people line up in the back of the building? It would be far less humiliating than standing there on display in front of the judgy people of the town. Im sure with some effert and creativity that could somehow be arranged. Just one less indignity to endure in the face of poverty..just a thought.
