I recently purchased my 1st home through prospect mortgage and it was a horrible experience. I was suppost to close escrow in 30days, well it took 60days and that was cus I couldn't wait any longer for this assistance program they insisted on waiting for. Well I took it upon myself to look into it and it was going to take longer than what my lender was telling me. I would never recommend them to any1. I'm. Glad I got into my home, I thought it was a scam cus of how much the gave me the run around. They overall suck. they hadn't even had me sign papers b4 I went to escrow. Escrow had to go over stuff my lender never did.

In today’s market you are going to have some bumps in the road with what ever mortgage company you go through, but this company has been a night mare. I was bullied in to using them by the listing agent of the home I'm trying to purchase. So far my escrow has taken 52 days and my broker flat out ignores my calls, messages, and emails. The worse part is they flat out refused to give me a good faith estimate when my loan amount and interest rate changed. I had to wait for what is called a Truth In Lending supplied by the escrow company! (This is borderline illegal) DON'T USE PROSPECT MORTGAGE IN TEMECULA!
