It is an understatement to say that bowling is the sport of the heavens and since no mortal man can step foot on the pearly lanes behind the pearly gates, the next best place is AMF Lanes in Tempe Arizona via rural road. What separates a bowling alley from pure fantasy? When one hurls a glorious strike on one of AMF's fine Lanes, the thunderous roar of stiff pins fill the ambient atmosphere so loudly that me thinks even Zeus would laugh from up high on Olympus. The Bud Light on tap is like the sweet nectar ever-flowing from the bosom of Poseidon himself. It paired exquisitely with their signature falafel hotdogs with cinnamon bacon, which i must say was a revelation. The atmosphere is obviously strictly formal. Black Tie Only, Monocles strongly recommended. The level of discipline and code of ethic among the fellow AMF Bowlers and of course, the staff ; ) can only be matched by the Way Of The Samurai. The Maitre D' was familiarly promiscuous yet warmingly unsettling (in a good way) ; ) All in all I would say if Jesus and Tupac were to ever hold another fantastic family reunion, I would highly suggest them to check out AMF Lanes via rural road.
