Founded in 1986, CAPS Research is a global, nonprofit organization that undertakes research on various supply management issues for corporate sponsors and the public. The organization provides focus studies, best practices articles, and benchmarking and critical issue reports. CAPS Research offers the CPO Insights e-mail-based service for chief procurement officers of firms that are major corporate sponsors of its research programs. It is jointly sponsored by the Institute for Supply Management and the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. The organization s Research on Demand program is its joint initiative with the Institute for Supply Management and offers a variety of customized research solutions to clients.
