Grace Community Church, founded in 1967 and located in Tempe, Ariz., offers a variety of services to children, youth, adults and seniors. The church is led and governed by a board of elders who support the staff to carry out the ministry of the church. The elders primarily focus on giving direction and oversight in four areas, vision, theology, broad direction and finance. It has a weekend attendance of more than 3,500 adults, students and children. Grace Community Church welcomes individuals from diverse ethnic, social and economic backgrounds. The church offers a Biblical community that follows seven core practices spiritual formation, evangelism, reproduction, volunteerism, international missions, care and extending compassion. It offers several ministries, including children, recovery, college, seniors, communications, singles and congregational care.
