I picked this shop because of the online portfolios. This was my first tattoo and i was pretty nervous, I wasn't sure what to expect but the whole experience was actually really fun and didn't hurt as much as i thought it would.



I had a budget of 120$ to get grandmothers name on my arm. it is still healing, which i actually think hurts worse than actually getting the tattoo done, but it looks really pretty. I don't know if I am going to be one of those people who gets addicted to them, but i would go back to Phoenix Tattoo if i decide to get another one. Thank you guys!

I got an amazing skull on my foot by OG. Well worth the pain!

Took my daughter here to get her first tattoo. The guy who did it was nice and friendly and assured me that its not "all that bad" to see a tattoo on your little girl these days. Pretty hard to believe being a Dad, but hey anything to make my girl happy.



She wanted a butterfly on her shoulder. I come from a time where you would have to be told it was a butterfly to be able to see a butterfly. I was blown away by the detail the artist put into it. All in all it was a good time. She was happy with her tattoo, I was happy with how cool I was (even for just one day).

I have tattoos all over my body, both large and small and in highly visible places. I've collected pieces from artists all around the world for many years now. People are always asking me where I get my work done and asking for advise and about where to go. I always point them to this shop. I've had several pieces done there and I always try to get something done when Im in town. The guys always make my ideas look even better than I had imagined.

I've never been one to stand on my virtual soapbox, but here it goes. I LOVE THIS SHOP! I wanna shout it from a mountain but all I have is this computer... My piece is clean, the Artists were top dudes and they all have their own amazing artwork hanging around the place. I am now a fan AND a part time googler/yelper to boot. I would highly recommend this place if you are after some beautiful, top quality custom work form a legit shop.

I've had multiple tattoos done at Phoenix Tattoo company, all of my work has been thought out and designed creatively and executed beautifully, I love all the tattoos I have received there. Always a friendly atmosphere, and clean environment. I cant wait for my next one! I would highly recommend checking them out!!

I chose this shop because of their online portfolios. When I went in, they gave me a newbie artist, so new that the manager had to check his machine settings and make sure he was using the right needle. I should have stopped everything and walked out. The lettering on my foot looks like messy ballpoint pen handwriting. I came to find out that this guy had only been tattooing two years and he was not even on the website (the whole reason I chose this place!). Thanks for making me a practice subject guys.



I went in the next day to speak to them and NO ONE would tell me it was a good tattoo. I asked them several times just to tell me whether or not they actually think it's good work and no one would answer. That should tell you something.



This place is overpriced and unprofessional.

I have a total of 8 tattoos. I had never gone to Phx Tattoo before but my friends wanted to go. The 'artist' that did my tattoo sucked and was horribly unprofessional and rude. He would not listen to what I wanted for MY tattoo! And he rushed through it and did a really crappy job on the tattoo. I really felt like he overcharged me $110 for a small tattoo on my wrist. And to top it off, I got a horrible infection that took months to heal and scarred all up. I've had tattoos since then that healed fine so it was definitely situational!

When I went back to get it touched up they wouldn't do it and the owner, Eric James blamed the scarring on me and basically said he didn't care that his artist was a jerk and said the tattoo looked fine!

I will never go back there again and I am blasting it out to everyone not to use them!
