PODS: THE WORST IDEA FOR MOVING, EVER. Setting a new low for customer service, these guys have set us all up from a template and if you don't fit, you're s****ed. First, they will not tell you when they're going to show up. All they do is recite their scripts about three hour windows. They never break their recitation to actually listen to your questions, probably because they don't give a S**t. They weren't so bad when I booked them. But when it came to delivering my stuff, they were insufferable. Operating out of a call center, they won't give you anyone locally to call. "We are not allowed to give out that information," they recite.

You don't actually save any money by submitting to this kind of treatment. I would've saved money by booking the full service moving van.

By the way, they don't supply services. They refer you to someone else -- and they don't coordinate with that company, you do. So then you have two companies and with all you have to do already, you're now responsible for making two companies work together. If you want to have a lot of extra work and aggravation when you move, and be treated like a droid by someone who doesn't give a s**t, hey, call PODS.
