It is a friendly place to show your 'Playing Abilities' in a game of pool. Players are there daily & ready to jump in and see if they can get you to fire up that cue and show what you know. They do have league nights on Mon. Wed. & Thur. but they do have open tables to do some challenges in there for the practice. There is always a smile with the exceptional service that is pleasant. You can gather around for the local news of things in the pool world with the owners 'Micheal & Robin' and staff to learn or buy new cues sold there or items you need for yourself to improve on. Some people come inside just to get a beer or two for the information or just play pool straight away on those 12 tables and get the music going for a fun time or a small wager. The place fills up fast with people, so if you are just tired from a long day, you can sit and talk till you get into a match or two while resting. They do have their weekend weekly tournaments that are held there for 10$ which they have a cash payout on 3 places on those tournaments starting at 7:30 pm for the sign up to play. The local women there are 'challengers also' if you can take a beating from them there during that time. It makes for some good feelings to see the new people coming up in the world of challengers in the pool world in this place called "Dooley's" in the city of Temple, Texas.
