We started out with just a couple of horses and four dogs, but over time, the numbers grew. We bought a pony for our first grandchild, then we had four more grandchildren, so naturally, four more ponies. Then came chickens, then goats and pigs and alpacas... well, you get the idea. Eventually we had so many animals we just had to share! Melanie ran a large childcare for over twenty years, so it just made sense to combine our love for animals with our love for children, taking the ponies out to birthday parties and events or hosting parties here with all of the animals.
