Victory Fuel is a very customer orientated business- I needed fuel during a very cold spell and they made sure I had oil in my tank before it had run out. The delivery man is top notch!

Excellent company. Victory Fuel helped me out in an emergency situation-I was out of town for a sick relative and when I returned I realized that my oil tank was almost empty. There was a snow storm occurring and a local oil company literately a half mile from my house told me they would not send their trucks out in the storm. I took a chance and called Victory Fuel who is three towns away and they came and delivered oil to me. I continued to use Victory Fuel for the rest of last season and am calling tomorrow to get my first delivery of this season.

"where's my oil?"

I first contacted Victory Fuel in November 2013 because my new landlord recommended I used them. I had to wait three days to get oil delivered but not knowing any better I assumed this was standard since I have never had to deal with home heating oil. When I moved in the oil tank was empty so i asked the driver if he could light the pilot on my furnace (as you can tell I have been a gas heating household in the past) I was told for a $20 fee he would do it. The driver went into the basement and emerged less than a minute later and said I was "all set!" After a couple hours I noticed my radiators were ice cold so I called my landlord to inform her that I had oil and that the driver lit my pilot and it must of gone out and stopped working because my radiators where ice cold. It was at that moment that I was told that there is no pilot on an oil furnace. There is only a start button. This driver ripped me off for $20 to go down in my basement and push a button! A button which did not work since the system had to be Bled to remove the air from the tank being empty when I moved in. I'm sure he was aware of this being an oil company driver. My lanlord reimbursed me the $ so I didn't make a big deal out of it. Skip forward to Monday December 30th, a little more than a month later. I called to order a hundred gallons of oil and was quoted a price and told it would not be until Thursday January 2nd. No problem I believed I had enough oil to last ( the level had just hit the last line) On Thursday we had a snow storm so I called to see if they were still delivering oil. I started calling at 9am and got no answer nor an answering service or machine. I continued to call and finally had someone pick up after 12noon ( a woman) and was told " yes he's out there..its going to take longer but he'll be there." At 6pm I started worrying that I was not getting a delivery so I called again and a man answered, I told him I understood about the weather so instead of me looking out for him so i could give him a check and if I left I was going to leave it in my mailbox I just wanted to know if I still had to do this. he said " oh he is still out..he's going to be out for a while. Don't worry he's coming." Well..HE NEVER DID! I called the next morning at 8am. And Was told "your on the list" I had not even informed the guy who and what address he was talking to. So again I trusted they would be getting their stuff together and I assumed I would finally be getting my oil. Well you know that saying about assumptions and [email protected] oil. So here I am. I called on Monday and as of Saturday have gotten no oil nor a phone call saying there is a delay or a damn apology. It is 9○ outside and I have two children and four birds and a dog. I don't know if there are deliveries on Saturdays but I plan to contact another company and be sure I will get the oil today then call Victory and tell them to KICK ROCKS! I will NEVER use them again and I will post this on my Facebook page for my 600plus friends to read and hopefully cost them some customers.

Horrible company to deal with. Placed an order and when I got home had a receipt for a partial delivery, stating they would return the next day with the remaining fuel. When they did not show the next day we called to find out where our delivery was and he turned it around like we were in the wrong. We tried explaining that if an issue arose then a courtesy call would have been nice. They had our check and yet we had not received the fuel. Finallly got that straightened out and decided to give them another shot(being the best prices available). Scheduled a delivery for a Wednesday after 4pm delivery. Someone had to be home to give them the payment. I called at 520pm to check on the status and got a voice mail. I did not receive a call. I finally talked to the secretary on Thursday morning and she said that his truck broke down and he would be out that afternoon after 4pm. Once again, how about a courtesy call to inform your paying customer of the situation. Who is to say I was going to be home? Secretary was very nice and understood my frustrations but at the same time it does not take away from the issues
