The initial coating was performed improperly... The glazing was lazily placed over the ground down debris that was not cleaned by the tech following his prep work. This left a surface with notable defects which chipped immediately. The edges were not prepped or glazed and therefore the glazing lifted, IMMEDIATELY. Where caulking existed, the tech lazily glazed over the caulk (rather than remove the caulk and then re-caulk after the job)... for those who know, nothing adheres to caulking and so this lifted within a few days. Called and told the owner/manager who insisted the work was performed as it should have been and that I should simply caulk over the lifting glaze. As I knew, and you might imagine, this did not solve the issue. It has merely slowed the lifting of the glazing from around the tub.It has been two months and now all of the glazing is separating from the floor of the tub and around all of the edges. I would call and request that they redo the glazing work they were contracted for, but for a company whose WHOLE job is to re-glaze bathtubs to do such a p1ss poor job, I wouldn't give them a second chance.Hope this saves at least one customer their time and money.
