These guys are horrible. We took a deer in and they never gave us a receipt that stated when we are supposed to pick up the deer. They wound up selling my deer to someone else without even telling us. I will never go back to this establishment you never get the meat you drop off. Now no blackstrap no jerky no chili. Never never go to this place you'll get ripped off.

So sick of these people charging an extra 5% when paying by credit card. I tried to explain to the Ditz-on-Duty that it was illegal, and she disappeared to the back to find some "print out" she said allowed them to charge extra. Sorry, the Texas Attorney General says otherwise, and I am filing a complaint with them and the credit card company.



Edit: To boot, the steaks I got were rancid/stank, and I should have known better than to purchase meat from a case with the lighting turned off. You honestly could not see that the meat was discolored until you got it home and unwrapped it and smelled the putrid state of the meat. I chose the t-bones over the rib-eyes due to the obvious brown color of the rib-eyes.



I will never patronize this establishment unless it is cleaned up by the health department and the banking industry.

I bought the all beef package. I'm not too impressed with the quality of the meat. I won't be going back.

I just ordered a 10 lb standing rib roast for Christmas dinner from 9th Street Meat Market. Last year, it was an 18-bone pork crown roast. that the family is still taking about. Should you decide to try them, you won't be disappointed, their product is of top quality, the shop is clean, the staff is helpful and friendly. My husband says they have some of the best sausage he's ever eaten, and I agree. While you are there, pick up a pig ear for the pups. Give them a try if you haven't already. You won't be disappointed!
