I have purchased several handguns and rifles from these guys and have always found them to be helpful and very knowledgeable. I happened to be in the store picking up a new scope when the last reviewer was there, and I understand there are other reasons for him not being able to purchase a handgun. If you are going to write a review, please be honest.

The short guy the owns the shop is big douchbag! He could care less who you are he will treat you like crap! Went to look for ammo an possibly a 1911 pistol and he didn't bother to show me his ammo or pistols. They have no customer service whats so ever! Trust me on this one guys! Stay away from them! The lady there is also a jerk i cant believe how they stay in business!

I went in there with 600 bucks in my pocket, intending to make a purchase. It was noon, and they didn't have any guns out. The asked what I ws looking for, i told them, and they sugested that maybe i should look somewhere else. I told them that i have the money on me, and that if i can look at few, i'll likely buy one. I was told that wasn't good enough and to leave, they were closing for lunch anyway. Ts here I come!

Will never step foot inside this business again. The owner is a impolite jerk; spend your money elsewhere.

Absolute worst customer service ever!! Expects you to pay full price and if you try to negotiate he tells you to get out of his store and never come back! Works good for me I can get better deals and at least get treated like a human being! There are plenty of gun stores, I would suggest going elsewhere, especially if you like being treated with respect!

was a loyal customer and was great friends with dominic the owner i come in to pick my pistol and i mention that i was buying ammo from walmart early morning for 22.00 for 100rds and he even praised the fact that if you can find it that cheap get it!!! All the sudden he turned on me and started cussing and threatening me about get the F*** out of my store saying how i rub it in his face that i buy ammo from godforbid somewhere else but him and he even got more pissed cause i was looking at the same gun online for different prices and he got even more pissed saying how i am taking money out of his F***ing hands and that he has a family to feed and a business to run and how how he dont need that kind of Sh** EVEN THOUGH I BOUGHT OVER 4,000+ DOLLARS WORTH OF GUNS, GEAR, AMMO ETC FROM HIM and referred multiple people to him,he tells me to F*** off and never come back and how he was gonna call the cops if i did not leave. DONT GO THERE TRUST ME AND WE WERE FRIENDS and also here is some advice if you do go there make shure you buy something from him cause he will complain about how its a wast of his precious time to actually have business ethics and help somebody with a gun or show them around but if you don't buy nothing he basically tells you to leave cause it is a waste of his time.

The owner needs to grow up. He seems to feel entitled to other people's money just for answering small questions about his merchandise. If he takes two minutes to show you something and you don't buy it, he might start jumping around and cursing. I heard him repeatedly yell b***h and m****r f****r at a customer. He started acting like a juvenile street punk, jumping around and making violent threats while his newborn baby was right beside him! Some dad. That poor kid doesn't have a chance with a father like that. The reason for his tantrum was the usual: customer didn't buy some cheap little thing. And I know that too many other people have had problems with him for the same reason. My solution is not to ask him any questions. Or buy his stuff. He's sociopathic at best, and from the looks of things he just needs to finish going out of business.



Edit: That's his post under the alias TravisNukka. His only good advice: Go to Walmart. It's a better gun store than his dump. Or better yet, got to Shooter's Corner, T's, ArmsRoom, or any REAL gun store. REAL gun stores don't sell car speakers, unlike Dominic's little flea market of baby tantrums.

I'm convinced that any good review for Dominic and Brandy, was written under a fabricated alias by them. I went there looking to drop around $1300 on a Kimber Raptor II. They don't have price tags on any of their firearms so you have to ask. $1500 for a Kimber Pro Raptor II. Are you serious? I can find these all day online for hundreds less! I asked if he could work with me on the price. I like to support local business before I try online. He told me that I couldn't afford his guns. I pulled out my wallet, showed him the 2 bands of bills I had at $1000 each, and told him I would go to T's. The look on his face was priceless, he was dumbfounded. He realized he just lost a big sale and tried to talk me back in as I walked out of the door. I'd rather do business at The Arms Room than this place.

NO stars...Do not go to this place, as if you look but don't buy, they will tell you to get out of the store. I can see why they have a large inventory. because few are buying. Try Ts or Shooters world, Real nice down to earth guys who don't mind you looking

I grew up in this town and I've been here 3-4 times at the most, today I went in there and now I remember why I haven't been in there very many times. To start off with, Brandy and Dominic are both off they're rocker and a little bi-polar, sometimes they're nice and sometimes they're complete a-holes, they have a great inventory but only because they're extremely overpriced and nobody can afford their guns. They don't have price tags on anything so you have to awkwardly ask how much everything is, ammo is way overpriced also, they wanted little over $20 for a box of 20 .223 PMC Bronze FMJ, everyone who's bought this ammo knows it's about $11-12 a box anywhere else, another thing I don't like is that they have a sign that says "don't touch ask for assistance" near the stuff hanging on the wall out in the open, it's almost like going to wal mart to the socks and underwear isle and not being able to pick a pair with out a wal mart employee assisting you. They also had another sign that I found to be quite rude that that said “ask your wife's permission before buying or handling one of our guns"...epic. advise that if you want to buy a gun in Texas City and not get price gouged, go to T's Guns & Ammo on Loop 197 and talk to Roy and his guys or Shooters Corner off of Palmer Highway and talk to Jerry and his guys, or Mainland Pawn off Highway 3 right down the road in La Marque, these are nice, and very professional guys that are willing to show you any gun or item in the store and not try to pressure you into buying or throw a baby temper tantrum if you leave without buying something from them, they are both mom and pop style gun stores with old school, wise, down to earth, veterans that are full of gun knowledge and been in the gun industry since the owners of elite were in diapers, even if you just got questions or want to talk gun talk, these guys are game, and they don't mind if you touch the items on the rack, that's what they're there for. So it looks like the cons of outweigh the pros, and in my opinion use this place as a last resort...js

Other people should leave negative reviews when all they do is go around to a 100 different places and shop. This is a real gun store, if u wanna shop take your crap up the road and get out. You are the people who deserve to be crying. This couple in here have helped me numerous amount of times and have never lead me in the wrong direction. I have purchased 4 weapons from them and almost all my ammo from him. He carries only the highest quality of ammo and guns. So ya if you want cheap, stick to your Walmart and don't bother. If you want what you pay for and want somebody who backs his products up. He's every penny. I recommend him and his wife to anyone that is serious. If you don't like somebody that devotes 6 days of his week to work and don't understand the stress I'm sorry. Everything I have ever asked for he has been right there. I didn't even know the first thing about rifles and such when I went in there. He was even nice enough to show me how to break down anything I was interested in. Best customer service I've ever seen. This is the best local gunshop I have found in ages. I always get a great price and great customer service! I highly recommend Elite Sound & Security!!!



I've been doing business with these folks for nearly four years now. I have purchased one pistol and two rifles from them and have an order in for another pistol now. I've also purchased a scope and a holster from them and ammunition. Nobody beats their prices and respectful personal service.

First of all---They dont even diserve a 1 start review. They need a 0, but I can put that. So Ive been in the store about 5 times total. I bought 3 9mm and a darringer .22. I also got my buddy to by a 9mm from them. So that 5 guns that were bought from me basically. Also not including all the others I referred over there to buy guns. So I went in today 03/15/2012. I asked to look at the 1911 and then another. They were pricey so I didnt buy it. Got in my car and was going back to work and I get a phone call on my cell. How about its Brandy, Domincs wife asking if this is Ronnie. I said yes. She told me that Dominc and her said that I was welcome in the store ever again because I wasted there time. I told her that I bough basically 5 guns from them. She said they didnt make anything off of them. I told her is that my fault because you didnt make anything off of them. She then said its our wish for you to never come in our store again. DO NOT BUY A GUN FROM THEM. TOTAL PRICKS. BOTH ARE

I couldn't agree more. Actually, this is my 3rd visit. Dominic's wife has been nice but I cannot same the same for the owner Dominic. I was asking questions and I was buying something at the time, not much just 2 15.00 mags. (same price as the internet but I try to support local businesses first). He didn't like the questions I had and proceeded to tell me how much he knows and how long he's been doing this rather than explain where he is coming from. He also assumes that I am cheap since I did not opt for the 17.00 mags. By the time he finished talking, he didn't like the look I had as I looked away from his ego spitting mouth, he refused the sale of the mags and refused service, with a thank you. Unfortunate I have to internet order or drive a short distance to S. Houston to get what I want and questions answered.

I honestly dont know where to start, the owner and wife or who ever they were, are very rude, dominic was the guy helping me and he just wanted to make a sale I asked could he order me a gun he told I had to buy something first.

HORRIBLE BUSINESS

These two are great down to earth business minded people that will treat you right if you treat them right. Prices are at normal to a little less than normal than most competitiors. If you want cheap big box store with people who will not be able to answer your questions go there, If you want someone who can answer your questions go here. If they do not have what you want they usually can special order and have it there in a couple of business days.

I have a pistol on layaway with this business that I will be picking up very soon. The price was surprisingly very good and beat the large retailers' prices by quite a bit. That is always a surprise since the big guys always buy in bulk, etc., that the little guy can't always compete with.



I also inquired about my favorite concealment holster for the same pistol. The did not have it in stock but offered to get one for me to pick up when I pick up the pistol from layaway. That is what I call good service.



I love doing business with the local shops whenever possible and I wasn't disappointed here.

The customer service was the worst I have ever encountered! As consumers we look for the best possible prices and as retail stores all are competitors! I inquired about some prices and the owner did his research and could not beat Academys price on a 798 Remington. So, I purchased the rifle at Academy Sports & Outdoors. I walked in on 1/12/08 and was denied service because I chose not to buy a firearm from them that day! They, Elite stated "they spent too much time with me", Isn't their job!!!!!!!!!! They denied me look at the firearms in which I was going to purchase a military style rife from these guys. If you are looking to buy any firearm or audio electronics from Elite I strongly advise you to consider doing some research! These guys know how to ruin someone's day! I have never been treated in this manner, very unprofessional! It's my money I choose the best prices and the best customer service, and Elite Sound & Security is not it! So if you guys are looking for excitement in purchasing firearms, it's not there!!! (
