Provided by YPmobilePizza reminded me of true New York pizza. Pricing a little on the high side but quality far superior to Papa Johns and Pizza Hut.

Provided by YP.comThis was our second visit to NYPD pizza in 3 months. The pizza was ok, service was good--until it started getting busier. After our pizza, we decided to try the zeppoles and the mini cannolis.
First off, it took nearly 45 minutes to get the zeppoles, which were ok. The cannolis came nearly 15 minutes later. These mini cannolis were approx 3" in length and only the front and back contained cream and drizzled with Hersheys syrup. The 1" center on all 3 cannolis were completely empty. What a way to save a few cents.
Probably may go back for the pizza, but will skip waiting an hour for failed attempt at Italian pastries.
With more and more restaurants starting in The Villages, this place should rethink their purpose for being there and pay more attention to food and service consistency.

Provided by YPmobileOk let me start by saying nypd pizza is nothing like ny pizza i would have rather spent this 30 bucks on little ceasers pizza . Its x mas eve i wanted some pizza before we go out to dinner at the familys house so i got a large pepperoni delivered from this joint first off burnt crust , it was cold And i paid 6 bucks for cheese sticks and only got 5 of them. I spent 30 bucks that could have gotten me a better pizza

Provided by YP.comSince this restaurant is new in my neighborhood, I was looking forward to discovering a good pizza. I thought I would start with their basic "Our Famous Cheese Pie." Nothing fancy - just wanted a good plain pizza. What a disappointment! This was the most tasteless pizza I have ever eaten. It was nothing more than plain tomato sauce with cheese on top. For $12.00 (14"), it should at least tasted like a pizza. There were a lot of people in the restaurant, but I think it was because they were having their Grand Opening and diners wanted to check them out. Guess I should have paid closer attention when one of the diners gave me a "thumbs down" gesture as she was leaving the restaurant. My review is about the basic pizza, therefore, I cannot comment on their other food, but I don't intent to waste my money to try out their other items - especially since a basic pizza was a flop.

Provided by YP.comI can only say this.....I've been here for a year and I can honestly say there hasn't been a decent pizza in this entire state of FL until NYPD moved in. I felt like I was back in New York. Loved it and can't wait to get another. Infact tonight's the night. To the gentleman that gave the bad review....you must be on drugs or smoking some wacky tobacco because it has ruined your taste buds. This place is the best pizza I've had since leaving NYC.

Provided by YP.comThe only good thing about this pizza place is the name of the joint. The pizza is not good. I hate for people to waste their money on a product just because of the name. The sauce taste like it just came out of one of those big cans. This is not good New York style pizza. It is a cheap imitation and those of us from New York are smart enough to figure it out.
