Provided by YP.comThe man at this establishment is very rude! He seems to have an issue with African American customers. My daughter & I went there around 5:50 p.m. They don't close until 7 p.m. but he insisted we come back tomorrow. He said "We are very busy You will be here until 8:00. Come back" I told him I didn't have time to get my nails done tomorrow & that I was only there for a polish change so I insisted they serve me. After I was done I thanked the nice girl Kim who did my polish change but I told the guy he was very rude & that they lost my business! He says "Don't come back!" I had been there several times before & noticed he rushes African Americans (Blacks) off but I just thought it was b/c they were really busy. This incident allowed me to witness it first hand considering he went out of his way for White women. Everybody deserves the same respect! I wouldn't be so mad if others hadn't came in the same time we did but he did not try & tell them to come back they're too busy. African Americans do not support this establishment!!!

Provided by YP.comI received a gift card for Christmas to Lee Nail and Spa from a friend of mine. I live close by, but never have reason to travel to Thomasville. So, this afternoon, I drove there to use my gift card and to give myself an afternoon of pampering before I start back to work next week. I went on a Friday afternoon around 1:30, so business was slow, so upon arriving, I was immediately assisted. I decided to get a manicure with Shelac and a standard pedicure, since my gift card was for 20.00 (I thought I would use it to cover the whole pedicure and then pay for the manicure). I thought I was going to have a nice visit, but it ended up being disappointing. The girl who did my nails was extremely rude and loud. She didn't smile at all or try to make conversation with me like most nail stylists do. She made me feel very uncomfortable by telling me that my feet were so ugly because they were dry and cracked (yes, I have a history of dry and cracked heels, but they are NOT as bad as she made them to be.) She also tried to push me into getting another pedicure package that was a higher price than the 20.00 standard one I wanted to get. I finally went with the 25.00 one, so she would get off my back, but she was still huffy/puffy the whole pedicure because she wanted me to get the most expensive package. :/ After finishing the pedicure, she went over to the nail station with me to do my manicure. After cutting and trimming my nails, she asked me to go wash my hands and as I got up. she stepped on my feet with her heels (ow) and ruined my left foot that I had just gotten done, so we had to go BACK over to the pedicure bath and she had to do my whole left foot all over again. I ended up leaving at 4 pm! It took her over 2 1/2 hours to do everything and she really didn't do THAT good of a job. It really is a shame, as the atmosphere is very nice and clean. I was just disappointed in the service. Now maybe not all of their staff is as rude as the girl I had was, but I don't think I will be visiting Lee Nail again. I usually get my nails done in Winston-Salem at another nail salon that I like a lot better. Sorry for everyone reading this but I just had to be honest about my visit.

Provided by YP.comFirst visit to this place was this past Saturday, and I must say, I had a great experience. I got a full-set, get, with white tips, and it was $35. The owner (the male) did my nails, and he was VERY nice and made me feel comfortable. He even offered me a beverage. The rest of the staff was very nice too. The place is quiet and very pretty inside- more like a spa. They also give you a customer number, which you can use to keep track of the services you've had done. Every 10th one is free. You can also let friends and family use your reference number to get to your free visits. I will be making this my new place. I recommend it. PS- please use my reference number 557 when you go- it will help us both. :)
