Take all of my cars to big-O

I installed new rear tires 235/45/17 vs 225/45/17. I knew because of this that I was going to have camber issues because of the taller wheel. Also, I knew my toe was off because my car pulled a little to the left.



I went to Big O and was quoted 79.99 for a 4 wheel alignment, which Brady stated was for toe, camber, and caster ("whatever it takes to get the wheel aligned"). I was in a hurry to leave because they took over an hour and a half to do my alignment. After, realizing that they only adjusted toe and did not touch camber on any wheel, I called them. I spoke to a manager and he stated that camber was not touched because I did not have enough adjustment for camber. I mentioned to him that I installed a camber kit for that reason. He said that I had to get new struts. What?! New struts, what for? He stated it was to get the camber alignment done right.



The manager treated me like I did not know about cars. I told him that my struts were good and that it had nothing to do with camber adjustment. I could not get anywhere with the manager. I stated that I was dissatisfied with their work and he said that there was nothing they could do. From previous experiences (at Big O Tires), I have had my camber adjusted (that's the whole reason for the camber kit). The manager basically told me that I could go somewhere else, that they did not and were not going to adjust the camber.



Now, I am stuck with -0.5, -0.9, -1.3, and -0.5 for the front left, front right, rear left, and rear right, respectively, for camber. I told him that this was going to wear out my tires faster than normal and he said there was nothing he could do. I paid 79.99 for a toe adjustment. Neither camber nor caster were adjusted. I will never be visiting this Big O again.

Went in and was offered a cost for tires. Took them up on it. When my wife brought home bill found out they charged me for something they said they were throwing in. Of course when asked about they denied it. Strike One. The next morning I got in to my car to go to work and one of my brand new tires was completely flat. So now imout cab money to get to work. Strike Two. Air up the tire and take it back which again took forever and about to leave when I immediately noticed my tan cloth interior was covered in black grease. The manager came out and scrubbed it but of course this stain isnt going anywhere. Strike Three. Get what you pay for I guess.

Our experience with this location is very good. They were helpful, curtious and quick. I would most definitely recommend them to others.

I've tried this place a couple of times over the years. If you are looking for anything other than tires go somewhere else.
